My grandmother gave bread away every Saturday. To her church, to the local hospital, to anyone who needed it. She never had much, but she never lacked either. That's where Ma. comes from: the belief that givers never lack.

We took More Action to Ghana and handed out over 1,200 sanitary packs to girls and staff across 20 rural schools, tackling period poverty directly.

We took warm clothes and shoes onto the streets of Birmingham and asked one question. Whatever the answer, we bought it, from a meal to a coach ticket to see a daughter. We came for the conversations as much as anything else.

Telford / Foodbank drive
Two carloads of food.
On Bank Holiday Monday in Telford town centre we teamed up with Telford Crisis Support and collected non-perishable food in exchange for Ma. pieces. We filled two cars with donations for local families.

Manchester / Wood Street Mission + Caps & Cans
Coffee, cans and community.
Two missions in Manchester so far. A coffee morning at Side Street Café raised money for Wood Street Mission. Then Caps & Cans at the Cupra City Garage collected 148.2 kg of food for Manchester Central Foodbank, which the foodbank says is 22 three-day emergency food parcels, or 198 meals.
